VEM Electric Motors range of brake motors are stocked from 0.12 kW up to 15kW, with speeds of 2 pole, 4 pole, 6 pole and 8 pole. The brake motors are equipped with a powerful Stromag DC electromagnetic brake. The brake is supplied with a DC current from a half wave or full wave rectifier which is sourced from the 3 phase motor supply. 2 speed brake motors are also available off the shelf in 4-2 pole, 6-4 pole and 8-4 pole constant torque and fan rated.
